We support missional outreach, connecting people to Christ through connecting people to one another, to resources, and to learning opportunities.
Renew your congregation’s passion of spreading God’s love. Connect your church with a network of churches that are engaged in ministry at home and around the world.
History
In 2002, Mennonite Mission Network, led by then executive director Stanley Green, joined the mission agencies of Mennonite Church and General Conference Mennonite Church upon the merger of the two denominations into Mennonite Church USA. The 20th anniversary in 2022 is a milestone made possible through a legacy of ministry that stretches back more than 100 years across multiple predecessor agencies.

Leadership
“What in your story, in your here and now, fleshes out what God is doing in and through you, to bring loving reconciliation to the world?”
Affiliation
Mission Network is one of five programs of Mennonite Church USA. The other four are:
As an agency of MC USA, Mission Network has a relationship of accountability and collegiality with the MC USA Executive Board. We are separate institutions with separate identities, boards, and mandates, even though we intersect at many places. We serve the whole church to join in God’s reconciling mission.
We work with congregations and organizations, both inside and outside of Mennonite Church USA, who come together around a common vision and are able to collaborate effectively and create productive ministries. Different perspectives can offer strength to common work.
Description
We affirm the Confession of Faith in a Mennonite Perspective as a primary point of reference for our theology and identity.
A nonprofit enterprise, Mission Network mobilizes and equips congregations to connect with people in mutually transforming relationships across cultures in the United States and more than 50 countries abroad.
What makes us different?
Mission Network is a leader in relational ministry which uses everyone’s gifts and encourages learning for all. We support existing faith communities and facilitate new faith communities by working with local leaders. We seek to learn from and serve all people, especially the least served.
Besides recruiting long- and short-term workers and volunteers of all ages, partnering with churches and organizations, and aiding in church plantings, our current activities include:
- Community development
- Relief and rehabilitation
- Teaching peace reconciliation in violent regions
- Theological education
Mission Network has 81 workers/participants currently serving in the United States and international locations.
Our volunteers, workers and staff play integral roles in transforming community social systems relating to health, education, immigration, food, housing and more. Join in this shared mission of actively working toward a more peaceful and just world.

A booklet series inviting reflection about God’s mission in today’s world.
